Ok,, thoe first thing to do if you want to play vendetta is to go to the vendetta website (http://vendetta.guildsoftware.com) and register as a new user. Then login and download vendetta

Once you have done that, launch the program and press play. Then type your pass word and press connect. After that, create a new player and start the game.

When you start you will find that you are in a station, leave the station and fly around a bit getting used to the controls :

Move the mouse = look around/change direction

Tab=turbo

up, down or w and s = accelerate and decelerate

left, right or a and d = strafe(dodge) left and right

click = shoot

enter = action

t = chat

In the bottom left hand corner of your screen you will see a radar, that is a view of everything that is infront of you. you should be able to see lots of white dots, some green dots(friendly ships) and you might be able to see a dot maked with a number. if you do not see this dot with the number then look at the radar in the bottom right hand side of your screen. that is everything which is behind you. The dot signifies a jump gate to a sector where the sector is the number on your radar.

Move in to the jump gate and press enter, this will cause you to jump to the next sector. Once there use the select nearest target button to select a nearby enemy, you should see this in the top right corner of your screen where there is a targeter.you will also be able to see where the enemy is by looking at your radar. fly towards the enemy and use your lasers to shoot him down. Don't worry, it will only be an ai robot, not a real person :). If you manage this then Congratulations, you have just earned your first kill. This will cause you to gain a small amount of money.

With more money comes better ships which allows you to destroy things easier. Also when you have enough money you can trade for more money by buying widgets at a one station and selling them at another. Also a quick way to get money is to ask someone on your team who has a lot of points for some money and he will probably give you what seems like a vastly huge amount of money :). with this trade using the trading table here to gain the most money.

Once you have 30k-40k you should learn how to fight well. You can do this by asking someone on your team to teach you, or by reading my other guide here.
