Saturn's Moons
Prior to 1977 Saturn was thought to have only 9 moons. People were so unsure because of the confusion in the ring system. When Voyager reached Saturn, she discovered many moons in her ring system. There are thought to be many co-orbital moons orbiting Saturn. The largest moon orbiting Saturn is Titan. Titan is one of two moons in our solar system with a fully developed atmosphere (the other is Triton). It is because of this that Titan was once thought to be the solar systems largest moon (mistaking the atmosphere as Titan's actual surface).
