Two Chinese Poems
Chelsea
Haiku:
On top of the world
They canÕt see past the anthills,
But whatÕs on their paw.
Choka:
Though falsehood rings through,
Assumptions rule the process.
Confidence roars within,
Expectant upon leaves renewed.
With this thought in mind,
Those teary laughs, left behind,
And cried on their mounds.
When it doesnÕt come to pass.
They have to learn to deal.
Even though itÕs God-ordained,
ItÕs sad to see it,
To see the beloved leaves fall.
The result? A tear,
Though the tear is for oneself,
The leaf couldnÕt know
Envoy:
What they thought, untrue,
And their mourning Š Apparent.
They see itÕs required
ThereÕs always the need for it,
Destruction to take its place.
