They say love is what makes the world go round
Love
What is love?
Is it something you just fall in and out of?
Should we be afraid of love?
How do we know when we are in love?
Is it when the words are said?
Is it when a gift is given?
Is it when someone puts you down and says it's out of love?
Is it when you put your trust in someone and they step all over it?
Is it when someone reaches for you hand and touches your heart?
Is it when you have that sharp feeling in your stomach every time you have a thought of that one?
Is it when you give all that you have and in the end that it wasn't that much to begin with?
I used to think I knew what love was
I used to think I was in love
I could be in love now
But if I am would it make my world go round?
Maybe I'm not like everyone else
Maybe my world is deemed loveless
Then how does my world make round?
