There she lays,
and there she crys.
Longing for her time to die.
Without hope, what is the why?
All alone, without a friend,
lost and lonely at the end.
No one cares, or so it seems.
Whatever became of childhood dreams?
Long ago she was full of hope
now it is so hard to cope.
With all the pain that’s trapped inside,
slowing shattering her teenage pride.
Alway different, never the same
words can cut when full of blame.
Full of malice, full of hate
any love came far too late.
Now she craves the peace of death
no longer to taste the bittersweet breath
The breath of life, pain, and sorrow.
There will be no new tomorrow.
There is no sun to light her life
she’s tired of all the pain and strife.
There’s only one door that she can see
no longer a reason left to be.
A man approaches, caught up in himself.
and smiles at her, wishing her good health.
the sun shines down and strikes the girl
she has been handed a beautiful perl
the perl of hope, of desire to live
of hope to grow and learn and thrive
Someone cares, that’s all that matters.
Her formerly dreary world has just been shattered.
Random acts of kindness, pass them on.
they may help someone to see the new dawn
You touch a thousand people each day
and can effect them in many ways
do your actions help or hurt?
so always remeber, and stay alert
a single kind word or little smile
can show some one that the world’s not hostile
There’s a reason to live and things can improve
its all about getting out of that groove
depression may seem like a permanent end
but the sun rises tomorrow and you have a friend.
